Hi Matt & Alistair, I just finished listening to the pod cast--great stuff! Regarding the foot pedal idea: the new midi 2.0 has a ethernet cable spec. I think this could work with power over ethernet to power the ewi. Also, i kind of like the idea of pressing the thumb for different octaves--or the sort of frets idea for ewi. For evi, though I still like the rollers, though I would like the angle of the canister to be different like Matt suggested. Anyway, great show! Cheers, Tim (aka windysynth)
